My name is Kenneth, and I’m the founder of this little social/business experiment I named The Floor Trust. Thank you for taking the time to hear me out. My hope is that the following message sparks enough of your curiosity for one precious opportunity to earn your Trust.
I made a name for myself in the Multifamily floor game over in Seattle beginning in 2007. I’m a Texan with a legendary upbringing, and the ancient values passed down to me by my late Father, John Kenneth Baff, were a huge hit in the NW business culture. I am a man obsessed with doing what is right, you can ask about me, they’ll tell you. I decided to monetize my best asset, my character, and set about doing what was right, not what was easy. I sacrificed, went without, and did all the good but difficult things I could find to do. With the help of the teams I built, we changed Multifamily Floors in that market forever, and for the exclusive benefit of the Multifamily customer. It was beautiful, guys, you should have seen it. Then Seattle went and changed on me and it became time to move on. In 2020 I sold my half of the company I founded and mini retired until my heart could tell me what should come next…what would come next was pain.
I would go on to lose several friends, family and loved ones to addiction and illness. My Father dying in July 2021 is when I lost myself. I didn’t need to work, so that was good. But I needed to do something…so I learned things and played competitive online video games for a couple years (I’m a huge nerd, you’ll love it because it will benefit you). Then, in 2023, and through a series of very unusual events, I wound up in North Idaho. Now, I love this place, and I will probably never leave. It turns out I didn’t really lose myself. I found him again, he just needed a break. And now, he has a plan…and a team.
There is a lot wrong with the way Multifamily floors are done in Spokane and North Idaho. I sense a property management customer base trapped in a state of resigned frustration. We are not okay with that, so we will change it. The other guys will have to catch up. I have assembled a team of the most competent and ethical people in the flooring business. All we do is Multifamily. We come built in with the highest installation standards in the industry, along with the most IQ points. You will experience fast turnarounds, low prices, a useful warranty, and friendly human beings who care about your business and know what they are doing. We will take ridiculous care of our subcontractors so they don’t hate working for us and want to do a good installation for you. Crazy right? We have only one value in our organization, “Always Earn And Maintain Trust”. All of us are bought in, nobody can stay on the team who isn’t. We are the ones comfortable with chasing excellence.
We may fail here or there, but we will never fail you. Mistakes are easy to fix, and the way we do it leaves you Trusting us more than before we messed up. We will finish well. You don’t even have to believe me, we’ll just show you, over and over and over again. And when the other guys are trying to copy our swagger, we’ll know it all worked.
